About the property

Benmore is a quaint and traditional Scottish croft house, which has been extensively renovated over the years, giving it a warm modern feel whilst retaining its original character. The cottage is set in its own peaceful garden with the front seating area picking up the best of the day’s sunlight. It has the further advantage of being centrally located in the tranquil village of Kilchoan in West Ardnamurchan and is short walk from the shop and friendly pub offering lovely food. It is also just a short distance from the newly opened children’s play park and the lovely seafront with its opportunities to explore rock pools and view the abundance of wildlife including curlews and oyster catchers and, if you are lucky, seals and otters.  From Kilchoan there are daily ferry sailings to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.
Tastefully decorated with lots of beautiful framed pictures, Benmore has a lovely, cosy feel to it and incorporates two large bedrooms upstairs, a charming lounge with open fire and good sized kitchen diner. It’s the ideal holiday accommodation for a small family or couple and is sure to delight.
Ground floor  entrance porch, kitchen with dining area, sitting room and toilet.
Upstairs double bedroom, family bedroom with one double and two single beds. Bathroom.

Hi, I’m Anna. I have loved travelling for as long as I can remember and am delighted to have recently become a mother. We went on a family holiday to Ardnamurchan, a remote peninsula at the most westerly point of mainland Scotland. We stayed in a beautifully converted church with views over the islands of Muck, Eigg, Rum and Skye.
