Keeper’s West
Built at the same time as the lighthouse tower, these buildings are the original homes of the lighthouse keepers and their families. Rudh Dudh
This restored Black House, perched on rocks beside a secluded white sand beach, is reached only by a 150m scramble along the Portuairk to Sanna footpath. It is a unique experience for the adventurous, for the nature lover and for those seeking seclusion. It comprises: open plan kitchen / living room, with one double sofa bed, wood burning stove, electric cooker, fridge, shower room with toilet. There is no cleaning between lets (too remote) and it is essential to arrive in daylight.
