With superb views of the Small Isles and the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye, Old Kilmory Church is a beautifully renovated former church, situated on the North coast of Ardnamurchan. This property has a spacious utility room with Belfast sink, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier sits just off a small entrance porch, as well as a well-stocked kitchen. The woodburning stove in the dining and seating area creates a warm and cosy atmosphere and the built-in window seats are the perfect place to sit with a book or to relax as you gaze out across the Minch to the Small Isles and Skye. Upstairs, a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed enjoys views of the islands to the north and Ben Hiant mountain to the south. A small second bedroom has full sized bunk beds and the bathroom includes both a bath and separate shower. Heating in the property is generated by underfloor heating and storage heaters, which add background heat the woodburning stove, fuelled by the generous log store, situated in the property’s private fenced garden. The seashore is a short distance away and the surrounding area is teaming with wildlife, including; Skylarks, birds of prey, wild orchids, pine martins, shore life and other flora and fauna. There are many geological and archaeological features of interest, including the site of the recently excavated Viking longboat burial.

Hi, I’m Anna. I have loved travelling for as long as I can remember and am delighted to have recently become a mother. We went on a family holiday to Ardnamurchan, a remote peninsula at the most westerly point of mainland Scotland. We stayed in a beautifully converted church with views over the islands of Muck, Eigg, Rum and Skye.
