The Saltings, Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan
The Saltings is a delightful holiday home in the beautiful village of Kilchoan, on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Situated in the heart of the village, the wooden house offers charming and comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people and would suit a family or a group of friends. It is in a great location for walking, beach-combing and enjoying the stunning wilderness and wildlife which is found in abundance in the area. The beach at Kilchoan is a five minute walk and from here you can spot a large selection of sea-birds including oystercatchers, herons, curlews and geese. “The location of this lodge is fantastic. We took bikes, walked, got the ferry to Mull and didn’t need to get the car out at all. If you want some time away from it all this is perfect. The lodge is well kitted out and we had everything we needed. Good value for money too.”
“We had an amazing time, the house was just what we wanted, spacious, well equipped and within walking distance of the only shop for miles. We used the holiday to walk, run and relax, and loved sitting out on the porch watching the birds and sheep. Quiet area, though not too remote, with other runners and walkers around. Felt just perfect.”
