The Saltings is a delightful holiday home in the beautiful village of Kilchoan, on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Situated in the heart of the village, the wooden house offers charming and comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people and would suit a family or a group of friends. It is in a great location for walking, beach-combing and enjoying the stunning wilderness and wildlife which is found in abundance in the area. The beach at Kilchoan is a five minute walk and from here you can spot a large selection of sea-birds including oystercatchers, herons, curlews and geese. The house itself is of an unusual wooden construction known as an A frame and features wood throughout, creating a Scandinavian feel to the property. The terrace at the front of the property and veranda upstairs allow you to enjoy outstanding views of the sea. The fenced garden has a picnic bench, making it ideal for barbecues, outside eating, and a safe area for children and dogs to play.

Upstairs: A family room with a single and double bed and one single bed and cot on the sizeable landing.

“The location of this lodge is fantastic. We took bikes, walked, got the ferry to Mull and didn’t need to get the car out at all. If you want some time away from it all this is perfect. The lodge is well kitted out and we had everything we needed. Good value for money too.”
