Rudh Dudh – Sleeps 2
Ramble along a 150 metre, coastal trail from Portuairk and you’ll stumble upon Rudh Bubh, a restored black house, perched on a rocky outcrop above white sands. The cosy, secluded cottage is a truly unique experience for the adventurous, the nature lover and those seeking remote and dramatic beauty.
Dondies House – Sleeps 2
Dondie’s is a fresh, modern conversion of a Byre in the beautiful village of Portuairk. An ideal retreat for couples, be awed by magnificent sunsets over the Small Isles from the comfort of your cosy living room, with multi-fuel stove. Stroll down onto the shore to explore miles of sandy beaches and coastal trails, abundant with wild-life and beauty.
Bungalow – Sleeps 5
The Bungalow is a cosy, tastefully renovated cottage in the lovely village of Portuairk, with beautiful views of the bay and the Western Isles. With the shoreline right on your doorstep spend your days relaxing on sandy beaches, exploring hidden coves, spotting sea eagles and dolphins in the bay, and rambling along miles of coastal trails.
Byre – Sleeps 2
The Byre built in 1886, has now been creatively refurbished, giving a homely atmosphere. The house is fully heated guaranteeing a cosy stay, what ever time of the year. Ground floor: kitchen with dining area, bathroom & toilet, living room with multi-fuel stove. A spiral staircase in the living room leads to a small double bedroom with king size bed.
Chalet – Sleeps 4
The Chalet is a warm and cosy cabin with beautiful views of Kilchoan Bay and the Sound of Mull. Enjoy dinner outside on the decked patio and take in the views and sounds of the sea. Set in the heart of the quiet village of Kilchoan, all local amenities are within easy walking distance from the Chalet.
Comraich – Sleeps 6
This “A” Frame has been completely refurbished inside, and landscaped with paved patio at the front. Ground floor: entrance lobby leading to open plan living/dining area with separate kitchen and bathroom (whirlpool bath and electric shower). Sleeping area with double bed, curtained off from the living room. Upstairs: twin bed area on landing and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Garden – Fenced secure for children and pets.
Keeper’s West – Sleeps 4
Keeper’s Cottage is huddled beneath the towering majesty of the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, at the most westerly point on the British mainland. A favourite spot for whale, dolphin and basking shark sightings, with miles of shoreline to explore in both directions, your visit to this snug spot perched on the edge of the ocean is sure to be a memorable one.
Oran na Mara – Sleeps 6
Oran na Mara is a traditional croft house, set in a large, lush, secluded garden, with lovely sea views over the Sound of Mull. Beautifully restored, many features have been creatively preserved, keeping its original character and charm. Set in the crofting village of Kilchoan it is a short walk from a friendly, local pub, shop, tearoom and regular ferry sailings to Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull.
