Enjoy the spirit of Ardnamurchan

Caber Feidh, Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan

Caber Feidh, meaning "Stag Horn" in Gaelic, is a wooden, south facing lodge surrounded by a large garden, overlooking the picturesque village of Kilchoan and the Sound of Mull. Caber Feidh has been recently been refurbished and has a bright and spacious open-plan living and dining area with an elevated balcony for taking in the view. Spend your evenings relaxing on the spacious decked area at the front of the house watching cruising yachts and fishing boats on the Sound of Mull. Or venture out onto the heather-covered hills behind. The lodge is only a short stroll from the local shop, community centre, play park and hotel and the ferry crossing to Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull.

Plan of Caber Feidh (not to scale)

Ground Floor: Open plan living and dining area. Separate kitchen. Bathroom with bath and a shower. Downstairs twin bedroom is curtained off from the lounge, with two single beds and good storage space.

Upstairs: Double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bath. The landing area has two single beds and access to a balcony with table and chairs.

Garden: Open garden with grassy area.

"This lodge is in a great location, with beautiful surroundings. It is very handy for the Ferry Crossing to Mull and the restaurants nearby serve very nice food. The lodge itself, is very well equipped for a family stay and they owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. It's easy to find and great for a family holiday away from it all. The local beaches are well worth a visit. , "

"Had a great weekend at Ardnamurchan, been here many times before and never fails to impress. Suits all ages and would recommend going to Tobermory on the ferry. , "

"Comfortable, cosy and well equipped, this cottage is just perfect come rain or shine. , "

"Caber Feidh was a lovely, very clean, very spacious, and comfortable log cabin to spend a long weekend in. We stayed Friday to Monday, and had great weather, the rain stayed away most of the weekend!!! , Very unusual for the west coast of Scotland. It is very well situated just off the main road in the village of Kilchoan, that has a local hotel and public bar only a five minute walk from the cabin (half hour walk back to cabin hicc hicc upup!!) and a village shop fifteen minutes walk away. Stunning scenery all around, no matter which way you look. We even climbed the hill behind the cabin and what a view of Mull and other parts of the mainland, we could even see Ardnamurrichan Lighthouse, six miles away from were we were !!!! We really enjoyed our stay here and will return in the very near future. I would Highly Recommend this property to anyone who appreciates a quite weekend away, with amazing scenery. , "
